Italian Group Conversation Class - Level 1 - New Italian Heroes

This class is suggest for beginners and low intermediate students.

In this class about heroes, we'll read the stories of four emblematic Italian figures: Libero Grassi, Mario Francese, Emanuela Loi, and Renata Fonte, who lived between the end of the 70s and the 90s. In a period full of social changes and transformations, violence, and dark plots, they courageously fulfilled their duty as citizens, politicians, and journalists to the full. Moreover, they gave an example that remains indelible, fighting to make Italy a better country and paying for their ideals of truth and justice with their lives. 

We'll also talk about our own heroes: who is the person you admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities? 

Pre-work for the class (not mandatory, but strongly raccomanded :-))

• Prepare a short introduction about yourself (max 3 minutes).
• Prepare a short presentation about you personal hero (max 3 minutes).

After registration, you'll receive the article we'll discuss during the class.

Term & Condition

• After registering, you will immediately receive the Zoom link for the first lesson.
• You will receive the Zoom link for the following classes the day before each event.
• If you cannot attend one of the classes, you must email ciao@italianexperiences.us at least 24 hours before the event. In this case, you will be able to make up the class in the following weeks.  If you have purchased a 5-lesson package, you can skip a maximum of one class. If you have purchased a 10-lesson package, you can skip a maximum of two classes. If you do not send the email or send it less than 24 hours before the event, the lesson will be counted as completed.
• Refund Policy: All online events/classes are subject to a full refund (less the administrative fees). No refund is given after the first class, which is included in a package. ​ No refund is given for ticket bought the same date of the event/class. If you want to cancel a class/package, you can transfer your credit to another class/package.
