About The Event
Take a virtual trip with us in the beautiful city of Brunello red wine!
Bay Area Italian Events & MagicOfMontalcino.com present the Montalcino Virtual Tour!
You will have the chance to visit the village of Montalcino in the province of Siena without leaving your bed or sofa.
During this one hour virtual tour, you will walk through the town center of Montalcino and see some of its artistic treasures, visit a historic hotel and its restaurant (https://www.gigliohotel.com/) and taste the famous Brunello red wine at Enoteca Pierangioli. Of course, you will meet and talk with local people who live and work in the Val d’Orcia area.
The event is FREE (donations are welcome) and will be followed by a Q&A session, during which we can chat and drink an Italian Spritz all together. Be prepared with the following ingredients and tools if you wish to learn how to do a Spritz by yourself:
3 ounces prosecco
2 ounces Aperol
1 ounce soda water
Garnish: orange wheel
Wine glass
.
